Hundreds of thousands of dollars in home repair funding was distributed among several families in North East Trinidad on Thursday.
The funds were allocated through the Minor Repairs Reconstruction Grant and the Emergency Repairs Reconstruction Assistance managed by the National Commission for Self Help.
Member of Parliament for Toco/Sangre Grande, Roger Monroe, notes the Repair Grants are life changing for some recipients.
A total of $360,000 in Grants were handed out during Thursday’s Distribution Ceremony.
