An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.6 shook North Trinidad on Monday.
The UWI Seismic Research Centre recorded the event at 12:16PM. The earthquake had a depth of 86 kilometres with a Latitude of 10.652 degrees North and Longitude of 62.387 degrees West.
The Seismic Research Centre says however their automatic solution is still being edited and as such they are awaiting the technicians to process the data to provide a more accurate location, depth and importantly magnitude.
Comments from UWI Seismic’s Facebook page suggest the event was felt in Curepe, Barataria, Diego Martin and Glencoe.
