Police in Tobago are questioning six people in connection with the disappearance of two-year-old Angelo Tobias-Plaza of Goodwood. The development comes as the search for the toddler enters its seventh day.
Search efforts, involving the Tobago Emergency Management Agency, the Hunters Search and Rescue Team and other agencies, are continuing at the Studley Park Landfill and in and around the Goodwood community.
Senior Superintendent Rodhill Kirk assured the public that significant police resources are being dedicated to the search for Angelo. However, he appealed to members of the public, particularly those on social media, to refrain from spreading rumours and unverified information.
Senior Superintendent Kirk said the investigation is highly sensitive and that limited details can be disclosed at this stage, but stressed that the matter is being thoroughly investigated.
Angelo was reported missing from his Goodwood home at around 7:30 p.m. on May 11th.
