Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, Ravi Ratiram, has appointed a new Board of Directors at the Palo Seco Agricultural Enterprises Limited (PSAEL).
The Board will be chaired by former PSAEL Chief Executive Officer, Danny Maharaj.
At a brief ceremony held at the Ministry’s Head Office on Tuesday, Minister Ratiram issued a call to action, highlighting PSAEL’s critical role in managing state lands for agriculture and development, particularly in rural communities.
He urged the Board to work collaboratively to guide the organisation’s strategic direction and support national goals for sustainable land use and food security.
Mr. Maharaj will be supported by Deputy Chairman and Attorney-at-Law Rajiv Chaitoo, along with Directors Shanty Boodram, Ambereesh Ram, and Neil Ramsingh.
