T&T Sends Five-Member Team To World Aquatics Championships

The Aquatics Sports Association of Trinidad and Tobago (ASATT) has announced its largest-ever team for the World Aquatics Championships, to be held in Singapore.

Leading the charge for T&T is highly experienced Olympian Dylan Carter, who will be competing in the 50-metre freestyle and butterfly events.

CARIFTA medallists and US-based duo Liam Carrington and Nikoli Blackman round out T&T’s male contingent.

On the female side, Olympian Zuri Ferguson will be taking part in the 50-, 100- and 200-metre backstroke. Isabella Diefenthaller is the fifth member of the team. She will participate in the 100- and 200-metre freestyle.

Head coach Dexter Browne and team manager Bertram Blackman will be travelling with the team for the championships, which will run from July 26th to August 3rd.
