Trinidad and Tobago Olympian Jereem Richards has qualified for the Men’s 400-metre final at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
Richards, who ran his semi-final this Tuesday morning, finished third with a qualifying time of 44.12 seconds, finishing behind second-place Rusheen McDonald of Jamaica, while Collen Kebinatshipi of Botswana claimed first place.
The final, which is set to take place this Thursday at 9:10am TT time, will be the runner’s first-ever 400-metre final at the World Championships.
