Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, SC, will travel to Tobago for an official one-day visit on Tuesday, 4th November 2025.
The visit is at the invitation of Tobago House of Assembly Chief Secretary Farley Augustine, under the provisions of Act 40 of 1996.
A release from the Office of the Prime Minister indicated that Mrs Persad-Bissessar, who will be accompanied by senior government officials, will first attend a special joint ceremony hosted by the Signal Hill Secondary, Primary and Kindergarten schools.
Following this, Mrs Persad-Bissessar will pay a courtesy call on Tobago House of Assembly Chief Secretary, Farley Augustine, at his office.
The Prime Minister will also visit the Office of the Prime Minister, Central Administrative Services, Tobago. She will later proceed to the Assembly Legislature, where she is scheduled to deliver an address.
After the Assembly proceedings, the Prime Minister is scheduled to host a brief meeting with the Executive Council of the THA at her Official Residence in Blenheim, Tobago.
Her visit will culminate with a reception hosted by the Chief Secretary in honour of the Prime Minister.
The release noted this official visit underscores Prime Minister Persad-Bissessar’s firm belief that the strength of Trinidad and Tobago lies in unity, cooperation and a shared purpose.
