Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander has delivered a strong warning to individuals in possession of illegal firearms and ammunition.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the 5th Annual Meeting of States on the Caribbean Firearms Roadmap, held at the Hilton in Port of Spain, Minister Alexander emphasised that authorities are intensifying their efforts to curb gun-related crime.
“My advice is simple: I can tell you drop them off at the nearest police station, I can tell you you could rest it down at your feet, and I can tell you you can guide police officers where to find them. That is on you. Do not wait for us to come to find it because we are coming.”
