A husband and wife were fatally shot during an early-morning assault at their residence on Penal Rock Road on Monday.
According to preliminary reports, the couple were inside their home with a relative when armed assailants forced their way in and opened fire. The wife is said to have died at the scene, while the husband, who was rushed to receive medical care, passed away before reaching the hospital.
Members of the Trinidad & Tobago Police Service (TTPS) are said to have discovered a vehicle suspected of having been used in the getaway.
Investigations are continuing.
