Energy Chamber Moves Quickly To Support Contractors Post-STOW Decision

In a notice to its contractor members, the Chamber acknowledged that the policy change may disrupt operational plans and outlined clear options for companies at different stages of the STOW audit process.
The Chamber noted that contractors who have paid for audits that have not yet begun may cancel and receive full refunds.

It added that those with ongoing audits can choose whether to complete the process, or if they opt out, fees will be prorated based on work already completed. However, it noted that STOW audits that have been fully completed are not eligible for reimbursement, since the service has been “fully rendered.” The Chamber emphasized its continued commitment to supporting contractors and maintaining strong safety standards during the transition.
