The Trinidad and Tobago Men’s Under 20 Football Team hosted the final match of their invitational series on Friday in Couva as head coach Marvin Gordon continues to assess his troops. After victories against AC Port of Spain and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, T&T, led by stand-in captain Josiah Ochoa, continued their Concacaf World Cup qualifying preparations when they lined up against the Grenada Under-20 team at the Ato Boldon Stadium.
T&T began as the aggressor in the early stages, as they looked to open the scoring. They continued their efforts when Marcel Valentine attempted to catch the goalkeeper off his line. A poor attempt at retrieving the ball by Grenada keeper Peter Alexander saw Giovanni Hospedales, who started his first game of the series, scoring for the third match running.
Alexander was tested again, this time by Jaydon Caprietta, with T&T in search of a second.
