The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) Head Office has taken note of recent media reports concerning a Debe resident who has raised concerns about the presence of clear, chlorinated water beneath her property.
In response, WASA confirms that its Distribution, Water Loss, and Laboratory Services teams have been scheduled to conduct a site visit to carry out a comprehensive assessment of the matter.
The investigation will seek to determine the source of the water and establish whether it is related to WASA’s infrastructure or other contributing factors. Following the completion of the site visit and technical evaluations, the Authority will review the findings and provide feedback to the affected resident.
WASA remains committed to addressing public concerns in a timely, professional, and transparent manner, and will continue to engage all relevant technical teams to ensure the integrity of its water distribution systems.
