Port Authority: Blue Wave Harmony To Enter Service Soon After Required Repairs

The Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago says the Blue Wave Harmony will undergo required repairs in Trinidad following its departure from the Port of Scarborough on Tuesday morning.

A statement from the Port noted that berthing operations in Scarborough were completed smoothly prior to the vessel’s departure.

It added that all repair works will be carried out in Trinidad and will be subject to inspection and certification by the relevant international safety authorities.

Upon completion of the repairs and the certification process, the Blue Wave Harmony is expected to be placed into service in the coming days. The vessel is expected to assist in ongoing efforts to stabilise the sea bridge.

The Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago apologised for the inconvenience and challenges experienced and thanked the public for its continued understanding and patience.
