Minister of Works and Infrastructure Jearlean John says the government is working to correct years of neglect of Saddle Road.
She was speaking in response to a matter on the adjournment of the House brought by Diego Martin North/East MP, Mr Colm Imbert.
The motion argued that there was a need for the Minister to address the unacceptable condition of Saddle Road.
She said the government has already begun looking at the road and that the Opposition member should have done repairs when he was in power.
She noted that despite the member’s complaints, works have been ongoing in collaboration with the Water and Sewage Authority.
