The Diego Martin Community Centre came alive on Sunday night as the sixth coronation gala of the Miss EVP Talented and Miss EVP International pageants unfolded, putting on full display a variety of local talent.
In a dazzling display of beauty, talent and creativity, several contestants graced the stage, each bringing their unique flair and personality to the competition.
This groundbreaking event crowned Laurrain Lee Bacchus the winner of this year’s Miss EVP Talented.
Thessaly Harper captured the first-place crown for Miss EVP International 2026. She was also named Trinidad and Tobago’s next environmental ambassador and was appointed as the pageant’s representative and ambassador to India.
During the question-and-answer segment, she was asked to share what inspired her to take part in the Miss Environment pageant and how her perspective evolved from her previous participation.
“I decided to return to the Miss Environment pageant 2026 for a deeper sense of purpose. During my previous participation, I had a passion for the environment but my understanding was still developing. My perspective has evolved from passion to commitment and responsibility from hands-on experiences.”
