The Hunters Search and Rescue Team in Tobago has confirmed that the search area will be expanded today, Monday, following a tip-off suggesting that missing baby Angelo Tobias may have been taken to the Studley Park Landfill sometime after Mother’s Day. As the operation continues, efforts remain firmly focused on locating Angelo Tobias of Goodwood, Tobago, who was reported missing on May 11. Led by Vallence Rambharat, the search has intensified, with teams covering new ground each day in the hope of finding the child.
“Today is day 5 for hunter search and rescue team here in Tobago and we are currently preparing to go out to resume the search for missing baby Angelo. We are always optimistic that there will be a positive outcome in this case while at the same time preventing, preparing for an outcome that I guess no one wants.”
Mr. Rambharat stated that despite the challenges, he remains optimistic about the outcome and reaffirmed the team’s commitment to pursuing every lead in hopes of bringing closure to the case.
“We want to expand the search area today and as you are aware there was the issue of the Study Park dump area in yesterday’s business and so we just have one small area to complete there this morning and then we get down to Goodwood to extend the search area. Coastal searches, we have a couple areas to do because we are expanding the search on the coastline as well as expanding searches in terms of the land space.”
