Hunters Search And Rescue Team Vows To Continue Search Efforts For Baby Angelo

The Hunters Search and Rescue Team says Monday’s search for missing baby Angelo Tobias-Plaza was extensive, and efforts will continue until answers are found.

Captain Vallence Rambharat outlined the areas covered during Monday’s operation, which marked the group’s fifth day in Tobago searching for the two-year-old.

He noted that multiple agencies have joined forces in the ongoing search.

“We started this morning with some searches in the Studley Park landfill area. We teamed up with the Tobago House of Assembly, the Tobago Emergency Management Agency, as well as the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service to conduct some searches in several pits, but those searches yielded nothing.”

Captain Rambharat said teams worked across several locations throughout the day, with support from agencies including the Police Service K-9 Unit and TEMA.

He noted that the team commenced searches in the Pembroke area, where efforts are still ongoing.

“All in all we had a long day, but the most important thing is that baby Angelo remains missing at this time.”
