The Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange is encouraging small and medium-sized businesses to look beyond traditional bank loans and consider raising capital through the SME market.
Marketing and Communications Manager at the TTSE, Natasha Bhola, outlined the benefits of listing, including access to long-term funding, during a presentation on capital market opportunities.
She was speaking at a Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC) seminar entitled “Accessing Capital Markets: The SME Path to Listing,” which formed part of the Commission’s ongoing investor education programme and conducted in collaboration with the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange Limited (TTSE).
