It is alleged that PC Douglas’ licensed firearm was taken from his possession during the incident. PC Douglas was found dead, with gunshot wounds about the body, around 11:15pm by first responders.”
A 19-year-old male suspect in the robbery, identified as Adetola Ammon, succumbed to gunshot wounds at the Arima Hospital.
Police are currently in pursuit of the remaining suspects.
