Pennywise Cosmetics Limited combined wellness and community on Sunday as they hosted their inaugural 5K and Care Fair at the newly opened Pennywise Plaza location in Trincity, bringing together runners, families and health-conscious participants for an exciting and energising experience.
Pennywise Cosmetics Limited held its first 5K and Care Fair on Sunday morning at the newly opened Pennywise Plaza in Trincity.
Participants came out in large numbers to run for love, engage in wellness activities such as massages and health screenings, and enjoy some goodies.
A representative of Extra Mile Events, Shamira, tasked with ensuring the race was executed smoothly, gave a breakdown of what the day’s proceedings entailed.
“This is geared towards ensuring health, ensuring health, all those aspects present in an event, our role here as an event management company is to ensure that our participants is safe on the road way, they know where they going, ensuring they stay hydrated, we want to make sure they have a premium experience.”
After they proudly crossed the finish line and received their medals, some runners opted to recharge. Others, however, had enough energy left to share jingles with the crowd.
