The Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, led by Minister Phillip Watts, has begun discussions with the Mexican Embassy aimed at strengthening football development in Trinidad and Tobago.
Minister Watts, joined by representatives from the Sport Company of Trinidad and Tobago and the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association, met with Mexican Ambassador Víctor Hugo Morales Meléndez and his team in St Clair.
Talks focused on collaboration to enhance football at the primary and secondary school levels, alongside advancing coach education and capacity-building initiatives.
Both sides expressed a commitment to forming a joint committee to identify priority areas and develop a short-term action plan.
