The Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism has formally presented Letters of Appointment to the newly constituted Board of Directors of the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards, TTBS.
The Ministry says the new Board will play a key role in advancing the organisation’s renewed direction, strengthening Trinidad and Tobago’s national quality infrastructure, while supporting business performance, boosting consumer confidence and enhancing competitiveness in regional and international markets.
The Board is chaired by Mr. Prem Nandlal, with Ms. Avion Rayanne Oliver serving as Vice Chairman. Other directors are Ms. Christine Gildharry, Ms. Alisha Mohammed Stephens, Mr. Shivanand Moosai, Mr. Shawn Philmore Martin, Mr. Nassar Hosein, Ms. Joy Roma Santo and Mr. Imtiaz Hyder Ali.
The Ministry says it looks forward to working with the new Board as efforts continue to strengthen the country’s quality infrastructure and support a more competitive, confident and export-ready Trinidad and Tobago.
