A groundbreaking deep-sea expedition has given scientists an unprecedented look at the largely unexplored waters of Trinidad and Tobago. Led by local scientists from SpeSeas, the month-long expedition mapped more than 11,000 square kilometres of previously uncharted seafloor, documented new species and deep-sea ecosystems, and collected hundreds of specimens for research.
