Miscellaneous Police FC and Athletic Club Port of Spain resumed their abandoned TT Premier Football League Match Day 19 encounter on Wednesday.
The two reconvened at the Police Training Academy, Ken Cooke Ground, to complete the 30 minutes that remained in their match after the lights went out at the same venue on Saturday.
AC Port of Spain led the encounter 1-0 courtesy of a 52nd-minute goal from Nathan Lewis after he expertly met a cross from Sedale Mc Clean, and on the restart, they managed to hold off the lawmen to the final whistle, registering a 1-0 win.
Despite the loss, Police kept their third place in the standings, with AC POS also holding ground in fifth. The unbeaten Defence Force FC leads the pack with four matches remaining for all teams.
