Preparing young people for adulthood involves more than academic success. Families In Action recently concluded its Adulting 101 programme, which brought together 46 young people between the ages of 16 and 20 for two weeks of practical learning on financial literacy, workplace readiness, relationships, boundaries, stress management and other essential life skills.
Rajanne Andrew, FIA Youth Education Project Lead, and Ken Ramdhan, FIA Parenting Education and Special Projects Project Lead, join Virmala to discuss the programme and how families can better prepare young people for life beyond school.
