AG: Talks With DPP Ongoing

Attorney General Reginald Armour says talks are ongoing with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions regarding the allocation of human and technical resources, along with alternative accommodation.

The question was posed by Opposition Senator Wade Mark in the Upper House on Tuesday on whether talks with the DPP have concluded.

In October 2023, the Prime Minister called on the Judicial and Legal Service Commission, which appoints the DPP, to account for why the accommodation on Park Street was not being used.

Speaking in the Parliament, Mr. Armour said it is an ongoing engagement with the DPP’s Office.
