Chairman of Angostura Gary Hunt says that at this time there is no judgment to make before investigations are carried out into the launch of a competing bitters product locally.
His comments come following the launch of Caroni Aromatic Bitters by a former executive director of the Angostura company.
Chairman Hunt says the matter is receiving the company’s full attention.
“Well, you know, it’s something that needs to be carefully looked at. It is a delicate matter, so we need to spend time and really get all the facts before we respond properly, and we will respond. As I said, we will investigate the matter.”
