With sought-after master blenders among the best in the world, Angostura has successfully leveraged its blending capacity with ‘420,’ its latest ready-to-drink beverage, which promises better vibes and better taste.
The company is now ramping up exports of the beverage, with new shipments bound for Barbados and Suriname.
Speaking at the launch announcement, Chairman of Angostura, Gary Hunt, said the beverage speaks to the company’s commitment to innovation and global competitiveness.
“Today’s shipment, ladies and gentlemen, represents more than product distribution. They reinforce Trinidad and Tobago’s footprint in the regional marketplace and deepen our trade relationships with CARICOM. Angostura, ladies and gentlemen, now exports to over 170 countries, and that number is growing by one in the very near future, to 171, representing 45% of our total revenue, and that number will grow in the coming years.”
Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Sean Sobers celebrated Angostura’s economic diplomacy and industry leadership.
“Trinidad and Tobago places great value on our trade relationships with fellow CARICOM Member States and the wider Caribbean. In this light, Angostura has consistently demonstrated its commitment to deepening our trade relations with our CARICOM brothers and sisters. This product launch and the sustained success of the 420 beverage bears witness to this well-established fact.”
420 comes in two flavours: original and tropical passion fruit.
It is currently exported to Antigua, Barbados, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, St. Lucia, Grenada, St. Kitts, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and, of course, can be purchased locally.
