Caribbean Airlines is rejecting rumours that the airline is facing closure, assuring customers and stakeholders that operations are continuing as normal and that steps are being taken to strengthen its long-term sustainability.
In a media release issued on Tuesday morning, the airline said its Board of Directors had “categorically” dismissed the suggestions, noting that “work on the Airline’s audited financial statements is well underway.”
The airline acknowledged recent public discussion following a media report, but said internal reviews are ongoing to improve its operational and organisational footing, with a focus on reliable service and maintaining strong connectivity across its network.
It added that recruitment for key senior management roles has begun as part of efforts to reinforce leadership and support long-term strategic direction.
