The United States Embassy in Port of Spain has issued an update informing applicants that they can now use their credit cards to make online payments for Visa applications.
Persons interested in applying for their non-immigrant US visas will now be able to submit their application payments online using credit cards effectively immediately.
Applicants are reminded that they are still allowed to make cash payments at Scotiabank branches.
The Embassy has stated that credit card payments will be confirmed immediately, allowing applicants to proceed to book their interview or register to send their documents.
They also further advise the public to solely utilise the official US Embassy website at: https://tt.usembassy.gov for accurate information and legitimate links to all visa services.
