Crime Round Up: Police Arrest 4 In Moruga, Cache Of Weapons Seized In Tunapuna

Four people were arrested during an anti-crime exercise in the Southern Division.

According to a release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, several drug blocks and priority offenders were targeted in the Moruga area, which led to the arrests of the four persons.

42 year old Ashton Williams of Erin, 37 year old Apalonea Caesar of St Mary’s, 36 year old Kevon Jairam and 22 year old Dillon Sinanan, both from Moruga, were all arrested for having in their possession, various quantities of marijuana.

Jairam was also charged for breach of the curfew, obscene language, and resisting arrest.

The four will appear before a Magistrate virtually this week to answer the charges.
