Soca artiste, songwriter and cultural ambassador Denise “Saucy Wow” Belfon has been honoured by the New York City Council for her decades-long contribution to soca and Caribbean culture. The special proclamation recognises a career that has taken the sound and energy of Trinidad and Tobago to audiences around the world.
