Following the end of the Destiny Invitational Basketball League’s Group Stage, the tournament’s organisers are set to host their first-ever single-elimination competition.
The DIAL Knockout Tournament, which will run from the 13th to the 23rd of March, will see the League’s 15 teams battle for supremacy at the Princess Royal Basketball Court in Arima. The winner is set to receive a $3,000 cash prize.
With New Chapter getting a BYE, the Round of 16 phase is set to begin this Thursday with a doubleheader. In the first match, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service will take on the University of the Southern Caribbean. The night’s second match features South Side Elite, who square off against Togetherness R.L. Basketball Club.
