It was a double podium finish at the end of Day 4 of the Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay for Trinidad and Tobago’s male and female cycling teams.
On the men’s side, the trio of Ryan D’Abreau, Danell James and Jelani Nedd outpaced fourth-placed team Venezuela in the men’s team sprint final, clocking a time of 46.216 to finish third.
The T&T women’s team, comprising Makaira Wallace, Kyra Williams and Phoebe Sandy, also won bronze, defeating Venezuela in a time of 50.145 seconds.
Those results bring T&T’s medal count to three at the end of Day 4.
