The Equal Opportunity Tribunal of Trinidad and Tobago is embracing innovation and reconceptualising the workspace with the development of a virtual office.
The EOT recently hosted a staff training seminar at the Office of the Attorney General entitled ‘Your Virtual Space, Your New Office’, where staff were guided through a soft launch of its Remote Work Collaborative Space.
According to a 2025 Remote Work Survey, 95% of the Tribunal staff reported high levels of satisfaction and productivity while working from home.
Chairman of the Tribunal, Madame Justice Donna Powell-Raphael, says the move shapes a workplace that supports employees and fosters collaboration in a sustainable manner.
Minister of Justice Devesh Maharaj commended the initiative, describing it as forward-thinking.
