ERHA Acknowledges Concerns About Patient Care At The Sangre Grande Hospital Campus

The Eastern Regional Health Authority (ERHA) acknowledges the concerns raised regarding the shortage of drugs and supplies at the Sangre Grande Hospital Campus.

The Honourable Minister of Health, Dr. Lackram Bodoe is currently working with officials from the National Insurance Property Development Company (NIPDEC) to secure supplies and has addressed this issue publicly.

The ERHA wishes to advise that it has dialysis consumables for continued patient care. As it relates to laboratory consumables, the ERHA has experienced supply chain challenges, however the Authority continues to engage its suppliers to ensure adequate supply is available. It must be noted that all tests are available for patients who are critical or require secondary care treatment.

The ERHA remains committed to providing quality healthcare. Persons wishing to raise concerns directly may do so via our customer relations officers, feedback boxes or connect with us on WhatsApp: 460-ERHA (3742).

We wish to also take this opportunity to thank our dedicated staff for continuing to deliver top class health care and keeping to the motto “Caring is the Key”.
