Fans Flood Streets As IShowSpeed Kicks Off Caribbean Tour In T&T

If you were in the vicinity of Port of Spain around midday today, chances are you were swept up in the massive crowds trying to catch a glimpse of Darren Watkins Jr..

Better known as IShowSpeed, the 21-year-old American YouTuber, streamer, and rapper—who boasts more than 150 million followers across platforms—officially kicked off his Caribbean tour on April 25, 2026, starting right here in Trinidad and Tobago.

He’s been making the rounds with local comedian and content creator Gervail Sean Lemo, drawing huge crowds at nearly every stop.

He began Saturday’s tour in St. James before moving through the capital, where the streamer was welcomed with vibrant tassa. Videos show him dancing in the streets as thousands of fans flooded areas like Tragarete Road, bringing traffic to a standstill.

In one standout moment, a young girl gifted him homemade kurma, adding a personal local touch to the high-energy visit.

Other clips circulating online show IShowSpeed playing cricket at the Queen’s Park Oval, stopping at KFC Independence Square, vibing to steelband, and even racing through the streets with fellow content creator Jamel Sampson. 

The Caribbean leg of his tour is expected to span roughly 15 destinations, including Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Sint Maarten, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and the United States Virgin Islands.
