The Lost Tribe continues to distinguish itself in Carnival history, capturing its fifth Senior Large Band of the Year title, along with the Overall Band of the Year title for 2026.
This year’s victory marks the band’s fourth consecutive Large Band title, with its presentation ‘The Island Circus’ dazzling judges and earning an impressive 1,351 points.
The results were revealed at a post-Carnival press conference on Wednesday.
Second place in the Large Band category went to Trinidad All Stars Steel Orchestra with ‘Sailors Ashore in Japan’, while Paparazzi Carnival secured third place with ‘Elope: Destination “I Do.”’
K2K Alliance & Partners once again won the Senior Medium Band of the Year.
Tribal Connection Cultural Promotions walked away with top honours in the Senior Small Band category, while Moko Somõkõw took the Senior Mini Band of the Year.
Junior Band of the Year 2026 in the Large Open category went to Zebapique Productions with 455 points.
In the Medium Open category, Spoilt Rotten Kids took first place; Vanessa and Friends took the top spot in the Small Open category; while Sophies Window topped the Mini Open category.
