Police arrested four persons and seized quantities of cannabis and cocaine during several anti-crime operations conducted across multiple divisions over the past 24 hours.
Operations were conducted in the Cunupia district, and searches were carried out at the homes of several persons of interest.
A cannabis grow room containing six immature cannabis trees was discovered during a search at a residence along Warren Road.
Officers continued operations in the area and discovered a second, more sophisticated grow room housing 18 cannabis trees.
The plants were seized, and two men were arrested in connection with the finds.
Meanwhile, in the Southern division, a 52-year-old man was found with 2.5 kilogrammes of cannabis in his bag and was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
Additionally, in the North Central Division, the home of a person of interest was searched, and officers found 475 grammes of cocaine. A 29-year-old woman was arrested in connection with this discovery.
