Four smart-ready bus shelters have been given accessibility and tech upgrades in Mt Marie and Signal Hill, Tobago.
The Division of Settlements, Public Utilities and Rural Development, in collaboration with community stakeholders, marked the official opening of the bus shelters under the Adopt-A-Bus-Shelter Initiative.
According to the Division, the project improves safety, comfort, and accessibility for students, commuters, and residents along the Claude Noel Highway.
The bus shelters include features such as durable reinforced concrete foundations, wheelchair access, and built-in USB charging ports.
