The new iteration of TTT Limited’s radio frequency Talk City 91.1 FM officially launched on Monday.
Senior Radio Producer Stanley Augustus explained the station is charting a fresh course with new programmes, personalities, and content.
He said the station will now carry a distinctive sound, one that prioritises dialogue over confrontation. He described the roll-out as both exciting and dynamic.
“We’re dealing with a whole lot of topical issues, whether it be politics, community development, we even have health segments. It’s a very interesting and eclectic type of lineup.”
He went on to highlight several of the new programmes and their hosts, including Andy Williams, Stephan Reis, Mr X and others. Mr. Augustus assured listeners that music will remain an integral part of Talk City.
“We also have Llewellyn MacIntosh. That’s “Short Pants” again, he’s on both days, Saturdays and Sundays. He has a couple programmes, “Culture Talk” and again, he highlights a lot of the old bards and so on, their music, interviews. So, it’s a little something for everybody.”
The relaunch of Talk City 91.1FM extends across all platforms, with live streaming available on TikTok, YouTube and Facebook.
