Games, Gifts And Santa: Trini Angels Deliver Holiday Joy To Youth From Five Children’s Homes

It was a day full of festivities and fun on Saturday for youth from five children’s homes, courtesy of the Trini Angels community and sponsors.

From games to goodies, this was truly an early Christmas treat. Vashir Ramdeen and Nigel Ramlagan, co-founders of Trini Angels, spoke to TTT News about the organisation of the event.

Mr. Ramlagan stated: “We organised a fun, family day today for children from children’s homes. We have five homes joining us today with one hundred and twenty children. Our team consists of over fifty members, and another thirty, probably forty volunteers on the team with us today. This has been the culmination of a couple weeks’ work, and the children here today are having a fabulous time. Thanks to all our sponsors, thanks to everyone for getting us here today. For them to have a full, free, fun day.”

Supported by sponsors, volunteers, and members, the Trini Angels NGO, organised a complete Christmas treat for the children from Ezekiel’s and Mother’s Union Children’s Homes, Rainbow Rescue, Adonna Institution, and the School of Ministry of Migrants.

The event offered everything from Giant Jenga, video games, bouncy castles, and a visit from a jolly, dancing Santa who got the children moving.

And after much merriment and the distribution of gifts, the Trini Angels community had one last message for all.

“Merry Christmas from Trini Angels!”
