The career of San Juan Jabloteh and St. Benedict’s College footballer Derrel Garcia continues to soar to new heights. The forward is currently in Portugal where he’s training with first division club, Estoril Praia. He was invited to take part in a one week trial.
Since winning the Trinidad and Tobago Secondary Schools South Zone and National Intercol titles, Garcia has transitioned to senior men’s football, scoring nines goal thus far for Jabloteh in the TT Premier Football League.
Garcia was also called up to the T&T Senior Men’s Team in February, making a substitute appearance versus Jamaica.
Estoril currently sit 9th in the Primeira Liga standings.
