Government Senator David Nakhid has accused the Opposition PNM of failing communities along the East-West Corridor. During his contribution to the debate on The Law Reform Bill, 2026, Senator Nakhid rejected the argument that Zones of Special Operations would stigmatize certain communities.
A former national footballer, Senator Nakhid said implementing ZOSOs would allow young people in these areas to move freely, to access training, and to pursue education.
