On Saturday, the members of the Greater San Fernando Area Chamber of Commerce will come together for their annual Christmas event, “Mix and Mistletoe”, at the Achievers Banquet Hall in San Fernando.
Chamber President Kiran Singh said that, beside enjoying all the aspects that come with a Yuletide gathering, it is the fundraising aspect that is the main focus.
“We do this on a yearly basis and it’s our signature event for the year and the calendar events for the Greater San Fernando area Chamber of Commerce. Once the event is concluded and we realise the funds, we will then distribute the funds according to the different Homes that are in San Fernando and around San Fernando. And in the New Year, we will lay out a calendar of events where we will be inviting the public to participate and, of course, strengthen the business network in the surrounding regions.”
Featured at the event are Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism, Neil Gosine, other Ministers and Members of Parliament, Mayor of San Fernando Robert Parris, Members of the Diplomatic Corps, and the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
