HADCO and McCain Strengthen Partnership With New Product Launch

HADCO, a major player in Trinidad and Tobago’s food service industry, continues to strengthen its partnership with global brands, ensuring local restaurants, hotels, and supermarkets have access to premium international products.

At a launch event held at The Forge Trinidad on Wednesday evening, the company spotlighted its continued collaboration with the McCain brand by unveiling a new line of coated French fries and restaurant-grade appetisers.

McCain representative Maria Parlasios said the brand, best known for its French fries, has long been trusted by restaurants worldwide for quality and consistency.

In her presentation, she highlighted that French fries feature in one in every five dining experiences globally, and that one in four fries served worldwide comes from McCain, underscoring the key role this simple side plays in customer satisfaction and business success.

“The French fry is the first bite of every dish. If the dish has French fries, that’s the first bite. That’s the starting point for the experience the consumer is going to have, so it’s really important that the French fry they are eating is good quality, has a lot of flavour, and it has a great texture because it defines the rest of the experience for the consumer.”

She noted that today’s consumers expect high-quality, convenient products, and with social media giving them a louder, more honest voice, consistent delivery has become essential.

HADCO Marketing Lead Marc Clarke said he values the confidence McCain has placed in HADCO to represent and distribute its renowned brand.

“At HADCO, we believe in partnerships, and this partnership is a true representation of what can come out of when you have an honest, straightforward relationship with suppliers. I’ve been with the company three years, and I’ve worked with this McCain team for just about two years, and I want to tell you about the commitment they have as suppliers to us as a distributor, it goes beyond. Mr. Clarke said the partnership between both companies has flourished over the years and expressed appreciation to the many restaurants and food service providers nationwide who have remained loyal to the brand.
