The Chairman of the Housing Development Corporation, Feeroze Khan, says billions of dollars have been spent over the last 10 years, with hundreds of millions of dollars wasted or going into the pockets of financiers or questionable companies linked to the former administration.
He says this money could have been used to bring housing relief to thousands of people.
