Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh continued his visits to Primary Care Health facilities in the Eastern Regional Health Authority (ERHA) on Monday, reaching out to the staff in Toco, Matelot, Grande Riviere, and Sans Souci.
A media release issued by the ERHA stated that Minister Deyalsingh was overjoyed and commended them for their commitment and dedication to provide quality healthcare to the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
Minister Deyalsingh indicated that he recognised the challenge staff had to overcome to access their health facilities due to the damage to the roads and ongoing roadworks along the North Coast.
However, he acknowledged the efforts to alleviate the challenge through the regular daily shuttle for staff provided by the Authority.
The clinical staff also gave feedback to the Minister on good results that were experienced at health office clinics and in particular at Chronic Disease Clinics.
