Residents affected by a hydrocarbon leak in Tarouba, South Trinidad, have been cleared to return to their homes.
This, as clean-up operations, spearheaded by the Heritage Petroleum Company Limited, have been completed.
Heritage Petroleum, in an update, confirmed that site restoration work is nearing completion and air quality assessments remain within acceptable standards.
The company will continue to monitor the impacted areas and support residents as response efforts continue.
