Homeland Security Minister Warns Of ‘Consequences’ For Those Behind Bomb Threats

Following recent reports of several bomb threats across Trinidad and Tobago, which were later described as hoaxes by Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro, Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander is warning that those responsible could face serious consequences.

He said the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service and the Ministry of Homeland Security will not tolerate the misuse of threats that cause public alarm and divert critical resources.

“The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, Ministry of Homeland Security, we are not prepared to continue taking your nonsense, you know, and again, there are consequences for what you do. So as time goes by and the investigation continues, you will face the full brunt of the law by any means necessary.”
